"International terrorists": Defense Express explains why all flights over Russia should be banned
The downing of an Azerbaijani aircraft over Russian territory is an international crime.
The "Azerbaijan Airlines" plane was unable to land in Grozny and crashed in Kazakhstan
Russia should be excluded from all international aviation organizations and flights over its airspace should be banned.
This opinion was expressed by military expert and Director of the Information and Consulting Company Defense Express, Valerii Riabykh, during a broadcast on Espreso TV.
He stated that the downing of the Azerbaijani plane over Russian territory is an international crime.
"It should be noted that after committing this crime against a civilian aircraft, the Russian terrorists, in an effort to cover their tracks, did not allow the plane to land to save the passengers, instead forcing it out of their airspace. As a result, the damaged plane, after covering 400 km, made an emergency landing in Kazakhstan," Valerii Riabykh explained.
The expert also recalled a similar incident that had occurred in Iran with a Ukrainian Boeing 737 flight PS-752, when again a Russian "Tor" system, in automatic mode operated by Iranian terrorists, struck the Ukrainian aircraft.
"This is the result of several factors. First, the Russians boasted that Grozny is protected by the "Pantsir" systems. Earlier, they also bragged about testing some artificial intelligence system, which was very effective in automatic mode. Most likely, this is what happened – such a system was set to automatic mode, with no prohibition on passenger aircraft flights, and it was firing at anything it could," said the military expert.
He emphasized that Russia should be excluded from international aviation networks and its airspace should be closed.
"This is also the result of the inaction of countries that continue flights over Russia, such as Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, which signed an agreement with Russia stating that the Caspian Sea should remain peaceful and not used for war. However, for three years in a row, the Russians have been launching attacks on Ukraine from the Caspian Sea, yet neither Kazakhstan nor Azerbaijan have made any official statements. I hope that this tragic incident will prompt the leadership of these countries to assess Russian terrorists' actions and end aviation connections with the aggressor state," Riabykh stressed.
