Invaders Launch Another Information Attack around Bakhmut – Maliar

The invaders are launching another information attack against Bakhmut. In particular, the enemy is spreading disinformation about alleged conflicts between the military and political leadership of Ukraine over the defense of the city, the Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar reports.

According to her, the Russian Federation is launching a large amount of allegedly insider information about the alleged contradictions between the military and political leadership over decisions regarding Bakhmut. 

"That is, that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi and the Commander of the Land Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi allegedly have different positions on decisions regarding the city, but this is not true," Maliar said.

Maliar also stressed that the aggressor country is discrediting Syrskyi personally.

"The invaders are trying to show that they are protecting their own, and the Ukrainian command allegedly does not value lives. However, in reality, the opposite is true. This is evidenced, in particular, by the ratio of casualties and the tactics of combat operations," the Deputy Defense Minister added.
