"It's quite a long story": Arestovich says that war with Russia could last until New Year

Alexei Arestovich noted that the end of the offensive of Russian troops in Donbas will not mean the end of the war. According to the adviser, it can last until the New Year. Arestovich said that in his interview on the 26th of April.

Are the new weapons already working?

It works a bit. Not in the amount, which is needed to fundamentally change the rules of the game, but there is already a little progress.

"This is what is important for us - we really want to see how this new weapon works. Here we got the weapons – here we see the result. It will take no less than three weeks or even more. Until they arrive in commercial quantities and begin to seriously affect the battlefield – it is late May or early June. We have to tune in to a long story. The cessation of the active phase in the Donbas, not the active phase to be exact, but this offensive, the transition to the "position war" - this does not mean the end of the war. It's still tactical actions, raids, airstrikes, war. This is quite a long story. And it can be very long. Maybe until the New Year. It depends on a number of circumstances, "- Arestovich said.
