The enemy is completely mining the fields. There is information that the enemy is also mining civilian settlements in Zaporizhzhia. And this is not only a problem for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their counteroffensive. The occupiers do not even warn local residents about the mining.

Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense, Hanna Maliar, made these statements during a telethon broadcast.

We are primarily facing the issue of the enemy conducting extensive mine-laying of the fields. There is information that even civilian settlements in Zaporizhzhia, for example, are being mined by the enemy without warning the local residents. And in reality, this is not only a problem for the Armed Forces... it is primarily dangerous for the people who are present there," said Maliar.

The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense also named the directions where the enemy is defending and where it is attacking.

"These actions taking place now are battles... If we talk about the south, these are battles where we are advancing while the enemy is in defense. At the same time, we have directions where, on the contrary, the enemy is advancing while we are in defense. We are gradually, with small steps but very confidently, moving forward... we are clawing back every meter of our land from the enemy," Maliar stated.
