Maximum attention to Kharkiv: Zelenskyy announced measures to support the city

The situation in Kharkiv

"Maximum attention now to Kharkiv: energy situation, support of people, businesses in the city, in the region. Maximum resistance to Russian plans regarding Kharkiv. We are working with partners to strengthen our air defense," the Head of State said.

Today, the President chaired a meeting where the main topic was Kharkiv and the region. Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi and Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk made reports.

"At the meeting the Commander-in-Chief made reports, regarding the entire front, focusing on critical directions. Action plans have been clearly defined," Zelenskyy noted.

Additionally, the President held a meeting with government officials and the Office team to discuss possibilities for supporting Kharkiv, as well as other cities and communities in the region.

"We need to provide social and economic support. I am awaiting detailed and prompt proposals from government officials. Today, there was a report on our ability to reduce the electricity shortage in Kharkiv and on the overall state of the energy system," the Head of State said.
