Missile shelling of Zaporizhzhia: 30 high-rise buildings damaged, photos from the site of the attack

As a result of the Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia on the morning of September 8, windows were broken in 30 high-rise buildings and three educational institutions.
Anatoliy Kurtev, Secretary of Zaporizhzhia City Council, reported this.
The consequences of the enemy shelling of Zaporizhzhia are now being liquidated by city services.
"At this time, it is known that as a result of the morning attack, apartment and entrance windows were broken in 30 high-rise buildings. Windows have also been blown out in three educational institutions," as indicated in Kurtev's statement.
He further specified that the Municipal Emergency Service of the Municipal Enterprise "Zaporizhzhia Remservis" and the city's specialized emergency rescue service are working at the scene. Municipal workers are assessing the scope of the work, delivering materials, and beginning to cover the damaged windows with OSB sheets.

"Tents of the City Council have been set up. Representatives of the district administration and social workers are inspecting buildings, documenting damage, and providing consultation to the residents," the official reported.
Charitable organizations and volunteers have also joined in to provide assistance. The humanitarian mission "Prolyska" is distributing OSB sheets and tarpaulin to residents of damaged homes, while the "Posmishka UA" foundation is offering psychological support.
