There was no “ceasefire” in the Pokrovsk sector despite Moscow’s claims. Fighting continued along this stretch of the front line in Ukraine.
“Pysmennyk,” spokesman for the Skelya Separate Assault Regiment, said this on KYIV24.
“Combat activity continued in the Pokrovsk direction throughout these days. There were clashes in the area of Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Rodynske, Bilytske, and Udachne. The entire area remained active,” he said.
Russian forces used guided aerial bombs, artillery and mortars. The occupiers also deployed various types of weapons, though “possibly slightly less than before the so-called "ceasefire,” he said.
The Skelya Regiment reports that particularly heavy pressure has continued for more than a month near the village of Hryshyne in the Pokrovsk area.
Troops also recorded attempts to stage “symbolic” actions and create a "picture" ahead of May 9, including the use of flags. Those groups were eliminated, the military said.
