Operation in Kursk region: how many forces does Russia need to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces?
Russian military forces are increasing their grouping.

Russia lacks 32,000 troops to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Kursk region.
This was stated by Serhiy Kuzan, Head of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation, in an interview with Radio NV.
“That grouping—32,000 (Russian army - Ed.)—is insufficient, and the Russians are already increasing it to 40,000. This is one of the objectives of the Kursk operation: to lure and draw out enemy forces,” the expert remarked.
He notes that Ukrainian troops in Kursk region are not engaged in classic positional defense but are constantly on the move.
“This speed of maneuver and decision-making continually catches the Russians off guard. Time and again, they face failures. They were counting on us to exhaust ourselves, to not have the strength to hold on for more than a month. Instead, our forces are successfully fulfilling their tasks and are constantly advancing, drawing out enemy forces,” Kuzan explained.
