In early September, the aggressor army of Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. To prepare for a new offensive, the enemy needs about ten days. A new attack could happen very soon.
This was stated by military expert Roman Svitan in a comment to "24 Kanal."
“They need ten days to prepare, and a lot of time has passed since the previous attack. Technically, the Russians are ready,” Svitan said.
The expert speculated that the strike could occur on September 25 during President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to the United States, where he will attend the UN General Assembly. Moscow often launched powerful attacks when Ukrainian political leaders were traveling.
According to Svitan, the Russians use such situations not only for the attack itself. As an option, they may try to disrupt the flow of information, specifically by overshadowing news from the U.S. with negative news about the attack.
He notes that the Defence Intelligence and the Security Service of Ukraine are trying to strike Russian airfields where strategic bombers are stationed in order to disrupt the occupiers' preparations for shelling. During such attacks, it is possible to damage not only the planes, which are difficult for drones to locate and hit.
“The targets could include the special engineering service that prepares Russian missiles for combat missions, as well as the missile and fuel depots themselves,” - Roman Svitan explained.
