After the end of the war, there can be no peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia - only legal documents on reparations, war crimes and a demilitarized zone.

This was stated by the Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podolyak, on the air of the telethon.

"We and Russia will not be able to have a peace treaty after the war, which it will lose. It will be an agreement on payments, on war crimes, on the demilitarization zone, there will be separate legal documents, but not a peace treaty with the Russian Federation," Podolyak stressed.

According to him, Russia will have to compensate for the losses it caused to Ukraine for many more years.

"At the moment of reaching the borders of 1991, we will say that the “counter-special military operation” is complete. We will then wait for the Russian political regime to change, and after that, we are ready to engage in dialogue with them. Until that time, they will record certain documents through an intermediary, indicating their readiness to pay reparations and so on," predicted the Adviser to the Head of the Presidential Office.
