The Russian army is amassing troops and searching for vulnerabilities to break through the front during the 50-day ultimatum issued by U.S. President Donald Trump to Moscow to reach a peace agreement with Ukraine.

This was stated by Mykola Volokhov, commander of the TERRA unit within the Third Army Corps, who is defending Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, during a broadcast on the "Kyiv24" TV channel.

According to the soldier, the Russian occupiers conduct assaults with small groups daily, probing for weaknesses in Ukrainian defenses.

"Assaults happen almost every day. The record was more than 20 assault actions in a single sector. There’s a certain logic to this, of course, because we are currently holding about 60 km, which is one of the largest sectors held by a single unit," Volokhov says.

"Small assault groups constantly press, looking for a weak point. We have information, intelligence data, that they want to amass certain forces and are trying to find weak spots in the front to break through. And within these 50 days that our allies are talking about, they will try to maximize their potential," the TERRA unit commander explains.

He emphasizes that, for their part, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are doing everything possible to ensure there are no weak points and to prevent the enemy from advancing.
