The British Ministry of Defense informs about this, referring to intelligence data.

According to intelligence reports, the RBK-500 is being used against Ukrainian forces in the direction of Vuhledar and near Avdiivka in Donetsk region.

"Depending on the modification, each RBK-500 disperses approximately 100 to 350 submunitions. In turn, each submunition typically detonates either with hundreds of high-speed fragments or with a larger anti-tank warhead," the intelligence warns.

The department adds that due to the large number of submunitions, one aerial bomb can cause damage over an area of several hundred meters.

"There is a realistic possibility that, similar to other air-dropped bombs, Russia has likely recently integrated a UMPC-guided remote planning kit into the RBK-500. This allows the carrier aircraft to release ordnance from many kilometers away from the target. Overall, Russian bomb systems have demonstrated low accuracy," the intelligence noted.
