The Russian army could launch a powerful massive missile attack on Ukraine in the coming days, or at most within weeks. Military analyst and reserve major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Hetman, shared this on Radio NV.

He pointed out that almost a month ago, Russia carried out a massive strike on Ukraine. Since the Russians aren’t abandoning their tactic of missile terror, they have gathered more means for attack during this time.

“What to expect next? A powerful massive missile attack may happen in the next few days, at most weeks. Just like it did on August 26-27 this year. They needed to stockpile missiles,” Hetman emphasized.

According to Forbes, Russia can produce various missiles every month -between 132 and 171 - as well as up to 500 "Shaheds."

“They are mainly focused on producing X-101 missiles, but they are also making "Onyx" and "Kalibr" missiles. They can only produce about 5-6 "Kinzhal" missiles per month, which is a small number. As for "Iskanders", depending on the type, they produce between 15 and 45. That’s one and a half hundred missiles, plus the "Shaheds", and the threat of attacking our nuclear power plants. This means that soon a significant danger will translate into concrete actions,” the expert noted.

Thanks to the large number of drones the enemy has, they can practically attack Ukraine daily. This is necessary for the Russians to “test” Ukrainian air defense, exhaust it, and gather intelligence.

Regarding the threat of a new massive missile attack, the expert is confident that our military is preparing actively for it. He also mentioned Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal’s statement that critical infrastructure has protection, with third-level shelters built.

According to Hetman, the longer the period between attacks, the more missiles the Russians can produce, which means the next attack will be even stronger.
