Russia is most likely preparing for new shelling of Ukraine, but the Air Force is prepared to repel the attacks. Yuriy Ignat, Spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the telethon.
"We are not preparing; we are ready. Because 24/7 is the usual work of the Air Force throughout this entire war. There's no other option; we have to be prepared for any threat, any aerial target at any moment," he noted.
Ignat explained that Russia took a pause, likely to accumulate missiles. "They had pauses because they don't have endless ammunition, they don't have endless missiles. So, they understand this well and deliver such isolated strikes. Yesterday it was "Iskanders", today it's the "X-59"," Ignat added.
