Air defense forces were activated.
On the night of September 13, Russian forces attacked Odesa and the surrounding area with "Shahed" drones. The occupiers launched the drones from the temporarily annexed Crimea.
Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported this.
Air defense forces were operated in the sky over the region. However, debris from the downed drones fell in Odesa and the surrounding area. Preliminary information indicates that garages, windows in 20 private residential buildings, four passenger cars and two extensions to residential buildings were damaged.
Additionally, one person was injured: a 74-year-old man sustained a cut wound to his hand. Medical assistance was provided at the scene.
"Law enforcement is documenting the aftermath of yet another crime by the Russians against the civilian population of Odesa," Kiper said.
