Russian army struck port infrastructure in Odesa: Killed and injured reported

On the afternoon of July 3, Russian troops struck the port infrastructure of Odesa. Unfortunately, there are killed and injured.

Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper reported this during a TV news marathon broadcast.

According to the official, the Russian army used a cluster ballistic missile.

"Two people were killed. It is also known that three others were injured — they are receiving medical assistance," he said.

Earlier, it was reported that an air raid alert was sounded in Odesa due to the threat of a ballistic missile strike. Later, explosions were heard in the city.

New details of the attack

It has become known that an Iskander missile hit the area of one of the berths of the Odesa Sea Port. People were working there — metal was being unloaded from a foreign vessel flying the flag of São Tomé and Príncipe.

"A dockworker-mechanic and a truck driver were killed. Six others were injured. Among them are employees of one of the port operators and a driver. Two others are Syrian citizens, members of the crew of the civilian vessel," Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine - Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba reported.

Infrastructure facilities were also damaged: gantry cranes, equipment, and warehouses.
