Russia's offensive has slowed on the front, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have transitioned to counterattacks.

This was shared by military analyst Denys Popovych in an interview with "Radio NV."
According to him, it makes no sense to talk about encircling Pokrovsk or, even more so, capturing the city for the Russians in the near future.

"They don't have the forces right now. In the near future, they may try to advance to the borders of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions and present it as a political victory, but nothing more. To advance there, they would need to transfer troops," Popovych emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Russian invaders are currently having some success in the Kurakhove area. However, in Popovych's view, the Russians might shift their focus to another direction in the near future.

"For the Russians, it will be more towards the Kramatorsk direction, near Kupiansk, or in Kursk region. But near Pokrovsk, they have slowed down," Popovych noted.
