Due to significant losses in personnel in Kursk region, the Russian military command is redeploying the 76th Air Assault Division to resume offensive operations.

This was reported by Viktor Kravtsov, Acting Head of the Communications Department of the 82nd Bukovyna Air Assault Brigade, on the air of the telethon.

The enemy is concentrating its forces in Kursk region, continuously deploying new units there."Due to the losses suffered by Russian marine and airborne units, the 76th Air Assault Division of Russia has been redeployed to Kursk region to resume offensive actions. The enemy still intends to push us out of this area as quickly as possible. We continue to defend," the representative of the 82nd Brigade said.

According to him, the Russian army is accumulating military equipment in Kursk region, but Ukrainian forces are effectively destroying it. In the past two days alone, they have managed to destroy 35 or 37 pieces of enemy equipment.

Kravtsov also notes that the battles in the Kursk region are relieving pressure on the eastern front:

"By observing the course of combat operations both in the east and in the north of our country, one can conclude that the Russian army is deploying its most combat-ready and best-trained units specifically to Kursk region. I believe this is helping to relieve the pressure on the eastern front."
