President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to Russia's combined strike on Ukraine on the morning of November 13, highlighting the effective response from Ukrainian air defense systems.
The Head of State shared his response online.
The President noted that in the morning there was another combined Russian assault on Ukrainian cities, "and our air defense provided an effective response." Russian missiles were intercepted, including ballistic and cruise missiles targeting Kyiv, as well as drones. In total, approximately 90 attack drones were launched against Ukraine.
"It's crucial that our forces have the means to protect the country from Russian terror," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He thanked each partner who has provided assistance.
"Supplying anti-missiles for our air defense in a timely manner, honoring agreements on defensive systems, and supporting the production and delivery of electronic warfare systems - this is, without exaggeration, about saving lives. Each instance of effectiveness by our air defense preserves lives and safeguards infrastructure. The more success our fighters achieve, the closer we are to ending the war. This is how peace is achieved through strength," the President stressed.
