The second Peace Summit should be hosted by one of the countries of the Global South, particularly India, but according to procedures, it must first join the joint communiqué.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with Indian media representatives on Sunday, August 25.

"We are very open. Let me tell you, there are countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Switzerland, but that is a different direction. These are the states with which we are negotiating regarding the second summit. I fully support the idea of holding the Peace Summit in India. I conveyed this to Prime Minister of India, Modi. India is a large country, a great democracy in the world. This is not just about India, but any country that would be positively inclined to host the second summit. We cannot hold the summit until the country joins the summit communiqué," he noted, emphasizing that "no one is pressuring anyone, but it is logical."
