According to the President, a diplomatic approach would reduce the loss of lives and time.

Ukraine seeks to compel Russian president Volodymyr Putin to end the war through diplomatic means, but the Ukrainian army will also be prepared to force the enemy out of the country.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized this during a briefing on the occasion of Independence Day.
"We will do everything to force Putin to end this war diplomatically, to minimize losses, especially of people, and to save time," he stated. At the same time, Zelenskyy mentioned a second way to end the war if, in his words, "our partners "fall apart" and do not stand firmly against Putin's aggression."
"We will ensure that our army is ready to justly push Putin out of our country's territory," the President emphasized.
