On the night of November 21, the occupying forces of Russia once again attacked Ukraine with “Shahed” drones, S-300 missiles and the “Iskander-K” missile. The Air Force destroyed 9 enemy drones and an "Iskander-K" cruise missile.

According to Ukrainian military-political analyst Oleksandr Kovalenko, the drone strike was carried out by several groups that penetrated deep into Ukraine and nearly reached the border with Poland.

Indeed, the fourth group of drones was detected in the area of Troyanivka and Stari Koshary in Volyn region.

"This raid forces us to ask at least two questions. First – whether the direction towards Poland was a demonstration of threat to Poland and how far they could have reached. Second – the overall route length of “Shahed-131/136” exceeded 1300 km within Ukrainian airspace, and the total duration of the aerial threat was over six hours," the expert noted.

Kovalenko noted that recently the occupying forces of Russia somehow plot the safest routes for their kamikaze drones.

"Their new routes are designed to enhance the survival of kamikaze drones, both in terms of time and distance. Perhaps even today's raid was a test of the effectiveness of one of these routes. All this once again indicates that Ukraine not only needs more classic air defense means and the crucial formation of ground-based mobile interception groups, but also becomes one of the priorities of obtaining light aviation equipment for aerial interceptions of kamikaze drones," Oleksandr Kovalenko stressed.
