Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy states that some countries help Russia in an attempt to disrupt the Peace Summit that will take place in Switzerland. He emphasizes that Russia is doing everything possible to disrupt this summit.
The President discussed this during the plenary session “Re-Imagining Solutions for Global Peace and Regional Stability” held in Singapore.
"Russia is currently trying to disrupt the Peace Summit. We have confirmation from 106 countries around the world at the level of leaders and high-level representatives. Russia, being a country of war, is traveling around many countries, threatening them with blockades of food, agricultural products and chemicals, threatening to dump energy prices, and simply pressuring other nations not to attend the Summit. This is simply about supporting the end of the war and supporting peace. And Russia is working to disrupt this in all regions. Unfortunately, there is information that some countries have begun to assist them in this – in the diplomatic disruption of the Peace Summit," the President of Ukraine explained.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the world must be strong and put pressure on Russia. There is no other way to stop Putin.
"Only diplomatic isolation, a strong Ukrainian army, and a clear stance from all countries – not balancing between Ukraine and Russia," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
