Speed or consistency – diplomat Andriy Veselovsky explained the difference in policy approaches between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris regarding Ukraine.

He said this on the air of "Kyiv 24".

According to the diplomat, Trump’s approach emphasizes the speed of decision-making, while Harris’s approach centers on consistent support for Ukraine.

“Do we want more speed or consistency? On one hand, some might say the front line situation isn’t ideal, and maybe we need faster support. On the other, we need consistency. Consistency means sustained, steady support for Ukraine, not impulsive moves. Choosing between the two is genuinely difficult,” Veselovsky remarked.

He is confident, however, that the U.S. "wants and will" continue to support Ukraine.

“Ukraine is part of their agenda in the broad sense. Ukraine represents a world that resists autocracy and stands for the interests of what we call the West,” Andriy Veselovsky concluded.
