Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that military training should be relocated underground as much as possible after another Russian strike on a training range.

He made this statement on social media following a monthly briefing on training issues.

Syrskyi emphasized the strict observance of safety protocols at training grounds and centers.

“All of Ukraine is in the risk zone of enemy missile and drone strikes. That’s why the training process must be moved underground as much as possible. Responses to air raid alerts and the appearance of reconnaissance drones must be immediate,” the Commander-in-Chief said.

The meeting also addressed the preparedness of the instructor and teaching staff at training centers, efforts to improve their qualifications, and aspects of instructor training abroad in partner countries.

“The most important thing is the people — their training, their safety, their lives. The better our soldiers are trained, the better protected they and our entire country will be,” Syrskyi concluded.
