Shelling of Zhytomyr region
On April 27, the enemy attacked Zhytomyr region. Civilian infrastructure was targeted by kamikaze drones. One civilian was hospitalized with an acute stress reaction, according to the State Emergency Service (SES).
The SES reported damage to at least 15 residential buildings, industrial premises, and 4 vehicles.
«The Russians once again resorted to treacherous repeated strikes during the aftermath response. This time, two National Police officers were injured during such an attack and are receiving assistance, ” the agency stated.
Some of the «Shahed» drones, attacking Zhytomyr region, were shot down. Fires broke out in open areas due to falling debris, which were promptly extinguished by SES fighters.
