The enemy is very formidable: the Russians have deployed elite units to Avdiivka

The Russian occupiers have deployed elite forces to Avdiivka in Donetsk region and have concentrated a significant amount of infantry in this sector of the front. The situation near the city is difficult.

Mykola Volokhov, Commander of the “Terra” unit of the 3rd Assault Brigade, has reported this on the Ukrainska Pravda Talk Show.

"The enemy is formidable. We have information that there are seven enemy brigades against us. Let’s just say, it's more than on our side. We've set a record for destroying enemy manpower and equipment in one day. But for now, there's nothing particularly to celebrate or be happy about because the enemy is very formidable. They've deployed their elite units here. This can be compared to the period when there were “Wagnerites” near Bakhmut until we eliminated them from there, but probably even more difficult," the military officer said.

According to him, the invaders have deployed both elite regular forces and assembled elite units. Additionally, the occupying army effectively uses artillery, employs kamikaze drones, and UAVs to drop ammunition.

"The enemy very actively tries to carry out flanking maneuvers, and not only in terms of quantity – there is a significant amount of infantry here - but also in terms of quality tries to put us in a disadvantageous position. We counter this, not giving them the opportunity to implement their plans and actively impose our own vision," Volokhov emphasized.
