The military named the hottest areas on the front: where has the situation escalated? 

Currently, the hottest fronts in eastern Ukraine remain the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions. The situation has escalated.  

Spokesman for the Operational-Strategic Group of Troops "Khortytsia," Nazar Voloshyn, told about this on the air of the telethon. 

He emphasizes that although the situation has escalated, it remains under control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Voloshyn says that heavy battles continue on the eastern front. Currently, “there is a dynamic change in the situation”, he added.  

The Russian occupiers do not stop trying to break through the front line, using artillery, tanks, drones and aviation. 

"The enemy's goal is to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," Voloshyn said. 

At the same time, Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to improve their tactical position in the area of the Serebryanskyi Forest. In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy conduct inactive assault operations.
