The Ministry of Defense reported about the difficult situation in Bakhmut

The situation in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, remains very difficult. The Armed Forces of Ukraine manage to advance in the city. However, the occupiers are bringing in assault troops.

This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar.

"Everything is difficult now in Bakhmut and its surroundings. Very difficult. Despite everything, our troops managed to advance for several days. This is all thanks to the extraordinary capabilities and professionalism of our troops," she said in her post.

According to Maliar, the occupying army of the Russian Federation is not changing its goals, but is moving its airborne assault units to the outskirts of Bakhmut.

"Heavy battles are going on. The defense of Bakhmut is going on," the Deputy Minister of Defense emphasized.
