The Russian army is intensifying its efforts by bringing in significant reserves to the Pokrovsk area, trying to push forward despite suffering heavy losses.

This was reported by Maksym Bakulin, press officer of the 14th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Chervona Kalyna," during a broadcast on KYIV24.

"The Russian army has now pulled in a very large number of reserves here, near Pokrovsk, in an attempt to break through the front line, to justify the losses they have already suffered. As a result, they are now working to exhaust us. That is, continuous assaults by small infantry groups, sometimes supported by heavy equipment, two-wheeled vehicles, and artillery," the serviceman noted.

In addition, they are shelling frontline cities with guided aerial bombs and attempting to destroy Ukrainian positions.

"They also have drones constantly in the air, observing and patrolling our most critical logistics routes, trying to block our ability to supply ammunition and rotate personnel," Bakulin added.

In response, Ukrainian defenders are actively using artillery and their own drones to inflict significant losses on the enemy. However, despite these losses, the Russians continue to throw fresh forces into battle, attempting to wear down the defense.

"At this point, we are working to push them back using our artillery and drones to stop their assaults, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. This enrages them, prompting them to launch even more and more attacks," the serviceman concluded.
