The Office of the President has responded to “Time's” high-profile article about Zelenskyy
The American magazine “Time” dedicated the cover of the new issue and the main article to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy
The high-profile “Time” article about President Zelenskyy is a "subjective point of view of a specific journalist."
This opinion was expressed by Advisor of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak on “Radio Svoboda” on Tuesday, October 31.
According to him, there is no "anger" or feeling of "betrayal" on the part of the partners. At the same time, the authorities of Ukraine openly tell them about "objective things", such as the speed of weapons delivery.
"Don't forget that this is the subjective viewpoint of a specific journalist who has their own perception of what's happening. Second, I don't understand the constant use of anonymous sources. Because when I speak with someone on behalf of the Office of the President, I always make it clear that it's me speaking... Sometimes these anonymous sources are people who don't have access to certain information but are nearby, and they want to increase their influence," Podolyak noted.
Despite this, Podolyak noted that the president is "harsh" to the fact that Ukraine has been at war for more than 600 days, and wants "more effective communication, the fulfillment of functional duties, and the realization of stated intentions, at least by 70-80%."
