The Russians attacked Cherkasy region overnight, hits reported: photos

The attack caused damage across the region, as Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets reported.

"From the night, our Cherkasy region was under enemy fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties, which is the most important thing. Air defense forces, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units destroyed six attack drones. However, we also suffered hits," he reported.

The most significant damage occurred in Cherkasy district, where the occupiers targeted infrastructure. In particular, a civilian bus station building in the regional center was damaged, and firefighters had to quickly extinguish the resulting fire. Additionally, an administrative building of a private company and several vehicles were damaged.

In Zolotonosha district, debris from a downed Russian drone damaged the roof of a private house. In Uman district, debris from a drone damaged a private garage and several cars.

"The territory is still being inspected," Taburets added.
