The Russians struck Kherson in the morning: one man killed 

Today, on May 20, Russian forces shelled Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. One man was injured and another killed. 

This was reported by Head of the City's Military Administration, Roman Mrochko. 

A local resident has been hospitalized with a mine-blast injury. Another local resident was killed as a result of the morning Russian shelling. 

What is known about the shelling in Kherson region over the past day 

Throughout the day, Russian forces shelled 19 settlements in Kherson region using various types of weapons. 

Novokairy, Novovorontsovka, Novoraisk, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Shlyakhove, Novooleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Mykhailivka, Mykilske, Tyahinka, Antonivka, Stanislav, Sadove, Zymivnyk, Kachkarivka, Chervony Mayak, Vesele and Kherson were under shelling and airstrikes by the Russian army. 

Eight people were injured. A high-rise building, 21 private houses, agricultural and communal infrastructure, as well as three cars were damaged.
