The Security Service of Ukraine turns 33: Zelenskyy addresses its fighters

During the years of war, the SSU has become a truly combat-ready special service, highly effective and strong. Its fighters are involved in all defense sectors, from Kharkiv and Kursk regions to all the hottest points on the frontlines in Donetsk region and the southern part of our country.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"We are proud of the results of the Security Service of Ukraine in the battle for the Black Sea: our maritime drones forced Russian military ships to hide somewhere in the bays of Novorossiysk," he emphasized.

Zelenskyy also highlighted the very important combat work of the SSU regarding the Russian oil refining industry – the effect is visible to the whole world.

"I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the Security Service of Ukraine in protecting the internal situation in our country. This includes countering Russian saboteurs, intelligence networks, and various operations by Russia against Ukraine in the rear," the Ukrainian leader noted.

He thanked the fighters and asked them to never forget all the warriors of the SSU, all the employees who gave their lives for Ukraine.
