Around half of the weaponry Ukraine needs to defend against Russian aggression is already being produced domestically — either independently or in cooperation with international partners.

This was stated by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa in an interview with Report.az.

«And we are ready to further increase production. I’m confident that Ukraine will soon surprise the world — more than once, ” Palisa noted.

He also stated that the country is actively working on enhancing air defense systems — specifically, systems of various ranges capable of destroying kamikaze drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles.

«We already have a number of technological solutions that are in the final stages, and we will soon see them in action. There are also systems that have successfully undergone combat testing and were used in real missions against the enemy’s complex tactics, ” Palisa said.

The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office also spoke about projects aimed at developing domestic surface-to-air missile systems capable, in the future, of intercepting all types of missiles — including aeroballistic and hypersonic missiles, such as the Kinzhal and Zirkon.
