In particular, large-scale drone operations are a priority.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are changing their strategy and tactics in conducting the war. In the new strategy, the main objectives for the Defense Forces are strikes against the enemy.

Mykola Malomuzh, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, expressed this opinion on the FREEDОМ TV channel.

"We are changing our strategy and tactics of warfare: moving from purely defensive measures along the front line and the destruction of reserves in the frontline zone. Of course, this includes asymmetric strikes on Russian territory, specifically in the Kursk direction. This is systematic work involving drone and missile strikes at medium and long ranges. The most important aspect is the use of UAVs, which currently have priority," the expert stated.

Currently, the main targets for the Defense Forces of Ukraine include Russian ammunition depots, airfields, and launch systems of various types - from ballistic and cruise missiles to tactical forces and assets. This involves attacks on enemy territory: in Russia, in the occupied regions, and along the mid and near front lines.

"Right now, large-scale operations using drones, missiles and long-range artillery systems are a priority to significantly reduce the enemy’s resources, including ammunition, missiles and guided aerial bombs, and to disorient their aircraft, missile systems and personnel, concentrated in specific training centers and approaching the front lines, of course, where real battles are taking place," Malomuzh said.
