"Up To Several Trillion Dollars": Klychko Estimated Damage Caused to Kyiv Energy Grid by Russian Strikes

According to Vitalii Klychko, the Mayor of Kyiv, the municipal power grid and water supply utilities sustained damage estimated between few hundred billion to several trillion dollars.

In his interview for Radio NV, the Mayor struggled to name the exact figures, since the municipal authorities haven’t yet had enough time to calculate the losses. Still, the Mayor is convinced that sooner or later the city of Kyiv will “invoice” Russia for all the damages caused, and the aggressor country will have to pay the price.

"I cannot name the accurate figures, but the estimated amount is between few hundred billion to several trillion dollars. We haven’t yet had enough time to calculate the losses caused to our facilities, but I can tell for sure that this is huge amount", Klychko said.
