What weapons for Ukraine were agreed upon at “Ramstein”: Umerov reported

On Wednesday, February 14, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported on the results of the 19th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format.

This is stated in his post on Facebook.

According to the Minister, Ukraine is strengthening air defense both with systems and missiles for them.

"The coalition of integrated anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense has officially started its work. 15 countries have already joined. I am grateful to Germany, France and the USA for their leadership," he said.

"In addition, work is underway with Western countries on joint production of artillery systems and ammunition. “There are already results,” the Minister assured.

Regarding the supply of F16 fighters to Ukraine, work is progressing according to schedule within the framework of all agreements with partners.

“We are strengthening cooperation with partners on unmanned systems. Today, we officially launched the work of the Drone Coalition. Eight countries have already joined — Sweden, Britain, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Latvia,” the Minister noted, thanking Latvia for its leadership.

20 countries have officially joined the Mine Action Coalition, with Lithuania as its leader.

Rustem Umerov separately thanked the USA and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, who chaired the meeting.

"We have the support of our partners. We are working to expel the Russians from our territories — both on land, in the sea and in the sky," the official concluded.
