Zelenskyy explains that the Victory Plan depends not on Putin, but on our Western partners.
Ukraine's Victory Plan in the war does not rely on the Kremlin and Volodymyr Putin, but rather on the political will of our Western partners.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference following the "Ukraine – Southeast Europe" summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
"Regarding the Victory Plan and how it relates to Putin. It almost does not depend on him, because the Victory Plan is about strengthening Ukraine both geopolitically and on the battlefield, which fully relies on the political will of our partners. This strengthening comes before any format of dialogue with the aggressor. Before. This is the bridge to the Peace Summit. This bridge is what we proposed," the Head of State said.
Zelenskyy emphasizes that only through a strong position can Ukraine hope for a just peace.
"Therefore, it doesn't matter whether Putin agrees or not. What matters is that those who strengthen Ukraine agree. That is why this plan has been prepared: a strong position for Ukraine, followed by preparations for the Peace Summit. We hope that the U.S. along with other partners will hear us," he concluded.
