Russia is expanding the geographical scope of its "Shahed" strikes and constantly changing its attack tactics. In particular, in recent days, the enemy has shifted more toward targeted strikes on specific cities.

This was stated by Head of Communications of the Air Force, Yurii Ihnat, during a telethon broadcast.

Specifically, Ihnat notes that in recent days, the enemy has increasingly resorted to targeted strikes on individual cities. He recalled that in 2024, the occupiers began using ballistic missiles more frequently, which do not have a long range (except for the "Kinzhal"). Additionally, they are using "Shaheds," which are significantly cheaper.

"If we talk about targeted strikes on cities, they always plan them. If we look at the statistics from previous years, they (the Russians – Ed.) always have a priority target on Monday, then another on Tuesday, and so on - they shift the focus of their attacks to different targets. This is all part of their planning. The Defense Forces have to predict all these strikes," Ihnat explains.
