Zelenskyi Listed Conditions for Start of Peace Talks with Russia

According to the President, the first thing Moscow should do is to stop solving the differences through war and murder, as Zelenskyi said during his speech at Ambrosetti Forum.

"The key point is the existence of negotiations moment. There is no such moment today, and there hasn’t been any such moment for many years before. The Russian aggression started not yesterday, but rather 8 years ago. Therefore, Russia should develop a desire to solve the difference through the means other than war and murder. Now they are trying to solve all their issues through brutal force only”, Zelenskyi said. 

The President stressed that Moscow must cease its attempts to seize Ukrainian territories. Another important point is desire for peace. Most European countries support Ukraine, however this desire must be mutual.

The third thing is the willingness of Russian society to end this war. The Russians should feel the guilt for starting this war, for making their choice for keeping silent. According to Zelenskyi, the Russian citizens should realize that there is no other option, but to withdraw the Russian troops from foreign land.
