Zelenskyy arrived in Qatar with an important mission – details

On June 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Qatar for talks with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The head of state announced this on Telegram.

Zelenskyy emphasizes, that Qatar is helping Ukraine return children abducted by Russia. Therefore, the parties will discuss continuing this work both within the framework of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children and within the Peace Summit, where this is among the items on the agenda.

"Qatar actively participated in the preparation of the Peace Summit and should become one of the voices of the Middle East for the return of people home, global food and nuclear and energy security. We will also discuss a range of bilateral economic and security issues with His Highness the Emir of Qatar," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
