Zelenskyy explained why Ukraine has every right to use cluster munitions

Ukrainian military forces will use cluster munitions on their own territory, which is entirely justified against the invaders.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement in an interview with African journalists.

"Ukraine received cluster munitions in the 23rd year after 9 years of hostilities against Ukraine by the Russian Federation with various prohibited weapons, including cluster munitions," the President said.

He emphasized that there is currently no evidence that Ukraine has ever used cluster munitions on Russian territory.

"Yes, on the battlefield, when the enemy uses cluster munitions against us on our own land, we will use the same weapons against them. And that is fair," stated Zelenskyy.
