Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held meetings with military leadership, specifically with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Barhylevych.
This was mentioned in the President's address on October 1.
According to him, during the meeting, the needs of Ukrainian brigades were discussed in relation to the situation at the front.
"We discussed the areas where our partners can realistically strengthen us in the near future. There was a separate report from Chief of the Defence Intelligence Budanov and Defence Minister Umerov regarding how our intelligence assesses the prospects for this year, Russian intentions, and the tasks that the Kremlin sets for their military. We clearly see the main objectives we need to respond to and how to do it," Zelenskyy said.
