Zelenskyy outlined the only diplomatic way for ending the war in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the correct and sole diplomatic path to end the war in Ukraine is the peace formula developed by Kyiv.

The head of Ukraine stated this during a conversation with media representatives from Latin America on Tuesday, August 8.

"Whether someone likes a certain point or not, it's a completely normal situation. Any platform is for discussion. Everyone has the right to express themselves, as long as they don't violate international law, kill, or seize your territories. The only one killing us and seizing territories is Russia, so we won't allow them to speak on the peace platform because they don't want peace," he said.

Zelenskyy pointed out that "until the entire world is united by a single understanding of ending the war, steps toward ending the war, restoring life in Ukraine, and bringing justice back to the Ukrainians who have suffered or lost their lives," it won't stop.

He emphasized that the base should be Ukrainian, because "the war is in Ukraine", and proposals can be made by any country.

"For us, the experience and opinions of every state that really wants peace are valuable - not to play along with Russia, not to play along for the sake of future economic relations with Russia, not because historically someone is grateful to Russia for something from the time of the Soviet Union," concluded the President of Ukraine.
