Zelenskyy revealed how many 'Patriot' systems Ukraine needs to fully "close the sky"

Ukraine can protect its citizens from death and close the sky from Russian missile attacks if it receives 50 'Patriot' batteries.

The President of Ukraine stated this during his interview with The Wall Street Journal.

He noted that Ukraine needs more 'Patriot' systems, as this is the only weapon that can currently shoot down some types of Russian missiles.

"Today, the only weapon capable of stopping some types of Russian missiles that it uses against our civilian population, schools, infrastructure, energy system, the only system in the world is the 'Patriot'. This war taught us this," the President said.

He noted that the presence of the 'Patriot' air defense system in Ukraine simply disables Russia's ability to intimidate tens of millions of civilians.

"The reality is as follows: 50 'Patriot' batteries - and most people will not die," the Head of State added.
