Zelenskyy's Office explains the consequences of Russia violating maritime ceasefire agreements
Technical violations of the ceasefire regime should be monitored and recorded by monitors.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In the event of Russia violating the maritime ceasefire agreements, the United States should respond. The White House must take appropriate measures in response.
This was stated by Deputy Head of the President's Office Ihor Zhovkva, on the air of the telethon.
"The U.S. is talking about the need for a country or countries that will monitor this situation and document it. They suggest that other countries could take on this role. Specifically, Saudi Arabia was mentioned, where negotiations took place yesterday. The U.S. approached Saudi Arabia with this proposal," he said.
According to Zhovkva, technical violations of the ceasefire regime should be documented by monitors, who will then pass the information to the U.S. After that, Washington should respond accordingly.
"Then, upon receiving such information from the monitor, the U.S. must take appropriate action. After all, we are talking about the U.S. being the facilitator of the implementation of these agreements. If the agreements are violated, the U.S. must respond," the deputy head of the President's Office explained.
