President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law establishing a single roaming zone with the European Union.

On June 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed bill No. 10265 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Implementation of European Legislation on Roaming," which establishes a single roaming system with the European Union.

This was announced on the Verkhovna Rada's website. The new law ensures Ukraine's inclusion in the common Ukraine-EU roaming zone. From now on, Ukrainian mobile services in the EU will be under the "Roam Like at Home" (RLAH) program.

While traveling to the EU, calls, SMS, and data usage will be included in your home service package according to your operator's tariffs, so roaming services will be provided at no extra cost.

Additionally, the benefits of the common roaming zone will also be available to users of European operators traveling to Ukraine.

"Thanks to the law, the investment climate for businesses in the electronic communications sector will significantly improve. Domestic businesses will gain a high level of trust by operating under unified rules with European partners," the Verkhovna Rada stated.
