Zhdanov told whether the MiG-29 can intercept ballistic missiles

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov said that the MiG-29s, which are being transferred to Ukraine by Slovakia and Poland, cannot intercept ballistic missiles of the occupying army.

He said this on his YouTube channel.

"MiG-29 are not interceptor fighters. They cannot intercept ballistic missiles, only cruise missiles. They can intercept drones. The aircraft cannot intercept or even detect a ballistic missile on its own. The F-16 as a part of the Patriot system can do this. These MiGs are not modernized and are not intended for such work," Zhdanov said.
