The US has suspended arms supplies to Ukraine
The United States has suspended the supply of some types of weapons to Ukraine. However, it is too early to speak about the consequences of this decision.
Andriy Tkachuk, an officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and military expert said this on the air of TSN.
The expert emphasizes that it will be more difficult without U.S. weapons, but notes that there is still a chance for agreement.
“Yes, it’s more difficult. Without U.S. support, things will become significantly more problematic. At the same time, I hope last week’s work at the NATO summit will have a positive impact in this area. First, weapon deliveries and strikes — which we are already seeing. Second, there are ongoing investments in Ukrainian drone production. European countries are sobering up and taking a more mature view of the global situation. For now, assistance from the U.S. can still be purchased. So I wouldn’t give up too quickly — we’ll see what happens next,” Andriy Tkachuk says.
